Who am I?

What role did Kylee play in her 3rd grade Living History Wax Museum?
Kylee was George Washington.  It was a choice between that and a starving person.  She initially was upset by her options and preferred the role of a Native American.  Kylee was excited after Matt helped her find her clothes and shoes for the costume at Goodwill and then made her a tricorn colonial hat out of some felt. I think the costume turned out great.
The parents were invited to come and tour all the 3rd grade classrooms.  Each class had a time period that they covered.  Some of Kylee's fellow classmates were Benjamin Franklin, Betsy Ross, Pocahontas, and people of Jamestown.

Here are some pictures of a diorama Kylee made for her report on James Cook.  She chose to depict the voyage to Easter Island.

Kylee, I LOVE your costume. Without George Washington, we would probably not have our wonderful country today. You were the most important person in the whole wax museum!

I also love your diorama. Good things you're such a great artist!

Love,
