Texas Bluebonnets

In the spring we like to take pictures with the Texas Bluebonnets.  With all the rain that we got the wildflowers were great this year.  On our way to eat out at Chili's we came across a field covered in bluebonnets.  We decided that would be a great place to have the children take pictures in their Easter clothes.  We went back before church on Sunday all dressed up.

On our way to take the pictures Brayden was very concerned that Kylee was taking a glove and can for picking bluebonnets.  Brayden informed us that his teacher told him it is illegal to pick bluebonnets.  Brayden said in the car, "I think you should pack snacks for Kylee because she is going to jail because it is illegal to pick bluebonnets."

The kids weren't very cooperative with our pictures.  Julia said "The sun was making it so my eyes can't open.  It was making it brighter and brighter."
