You a nice girl
Julia has been saying "you a mean girl" or "boy". She picked up this handy little phrase from one of her siblings and uses it whenever she is unhappy with someone. She has gotten in trouble using it with her parents. Recently she got mad at her mom when she got in trouble for something and was about to use her phrase starting with "Mom," then paused and thought and proceeded in a happy tone with "You a nice girl. I said nice girl." She usually tries really hard to be obedient. I was impressed that she thought about what she was going to say, recognized that it wasn't nice, and changed her words. Now if only the older children could learn from her and think before they speak.
