Before moving back to San Antonio we decided to make one last trip to Kure beach. We had family come and stay with us at the Fort Fisher Air Force Recreation Area. My Mom and Chantelle flew out to North Carolina and Katrina and her family drove down with us. The kids had fun hanging out on the beach and getting burned (maybe not so much fun with the burns), boogie boarding, and playing in the sand. Among other fun activities, we went the aquarium and rode a fairy and a golf cart. It was nice to have one last party with the cousins. The two double wides were plenty of room to fit us all.

Mario found a baby shark on the beach and some of the kids had fun holding it.

After everyone else left we toured the Battleship North Carolina. This was a highlight for me. It is incredible that they have all the necessities on the ship and are able to live on there for months. I couldn't do it because I would feel claustrophobic, but it is so neat to see how they lived.
