Fast! Quick! Hurry!
I often tell 3 year old Julia "Hurry up we need to go or we are going to be late!" She doesn't seem to understand. I don't think she has added the words fast, hurry, quick to her vocabulary yet. She runs on her own time. I try and move her along and do things for her, but it only makes things worse. It causes her to take longer because then she needs to do it again herself. I can't get too frustrated because I can remember when I was young my family would refer to me as a turtle. I always seemed to be the last one out of the house. I guess I should just pass on the turtle name to Julia.
