Mother's Day

Kuentz Elementary has a Mother Spa day to celebrate Mother's Day for Kinder and 5th.  I have a son in each of those grades, so I got to go two days in a row to get a makeover.  Blake's was first on Thursday and I asked him what he wanted to do and he really didn't care.  So, I took some nail polish for him to paint my nails with.  He had never used nail polish before, so it took some figuring out.  In the classroom there was all the girls going to town giving their Mom's makeovers and most of the boys were sitting somewhere else playing on electronics.  There were only a few boys doing the makeovers.  Blake was good about painting my nails and bringing me food, but was anxious when he was done to join the boys on the electronics couch.

Since I didn't bring much for Blake to do, only nail polish, I was feeling guilty and decided to bring more for Asher to do.  He was excited to put makeup on me and got to choose the eye shadow to use.  He matched it with my clothes and was very careful when he was putting it on.  He also painted my nails in a pattern of red and pink and combed my hair for a little bit.  There was plenty of food, so the students could have some too.  He really liked eating the donut holes. Asher had a lot of pictures and papers to share with me.  It was fun to spend time with each of the boys for my Mother Spa Day.

I was spoiled on Mother's Day.  Matt made two meals for Mother's Day.  For breakfast he woke up early to make the yummy crepes and after church he made my favorite salmon with asparagus.  When they came to wake me up, I was already up and in the bathroom.  So when I came out they were all in our bed.

Asher said, "Look, I made my blueberry have hair."
